Reconnect a disconnected number (expired connection, lost permission, no updates)

Get a number working again by connecting it once more. Your chats, contacts, chatbots and campaigns stay.

A card on Home and the Connection page (and a mark on the number switcher) saying one of:

This number was disconnected — Meta disconnected it (for example the WhatsApp account was removed from the app, or the number moved to another provider). Nothing is sent or received.
Connection to Meta has expired (Meta error 190) — the access Meta gave the panel was revoked or expired, for example because someone removed the app in your business settings or changed the Facebook password. Sends may fail.
Your WhatsApp connection lost permission for this number (Meta error 100) — the connection still works, but Meta no longer lets the panel load this number: it was removed from your WhatsApp account, moved to another provider, or a permission was taken away. Sends may fail and new messages may not arrive. If the number was removed or moved, add it back in Meta Business Suite before you connect again.
Meta has stopped sending updates for this number — messages go out but no new customer messages or delivery ticks come back.

Open Connection in the panel.
Press Connect WhatsApp (with several numbers: Add another number).
Sign in with the Facebook account that manages this business and pick the same business portfolio, WhatsApp account and number. Allow every permission Meta asks for.
Finish the steps. The number comes back with all its chats, contacts and settings.
Send yourself a test message and check it appears in the Inbox.

The card disappears by itself once the number works again; press Recheck now to check at once.
