Send a WhatsApp Flow and read the responses

Four ways to send a Flow

Inbox	In a chat, click the form icon in the composer (Send a form) and pick the form. It goes out as Please fill in: (form name) with an Open form button. Drafts are marked test numbers only	Needs an open 24-hour window

Where the answers go

When the customer submits:

1. In the chat: a summary message with the form name and each answer, such as 📋 Appointment booking: Service: Consultation · Preferred date: 2026-10-31 · Time slot: 10:00 – 11:00.
2. On the contact: each answer saved to its mapped field (service, preferred_date…), ready for segments, campaign variables and flows.
3. In the Responses tab of the Flow: every submission with its date, the contact, and one column per question (the latest 200).
4. To automations: the Form submitted trigger starts a flow (for one form, or Any form). Answers are available as {{field}}.

Confirm every submission

Create a flow with the Form submitted trigger that thanks the customer and repeats the key details. Add Notify agent for bookings or leads that need a call.

Common mistakes

• Sending from the inbox after 24 hours. Use a template with a Flow button instead.
• No confirmation. Customers aren’t sure it worked and send it twice.
• Forgetting field mapping. Answers then show in Responses but aren’t on the contact.
